I notice that the whole world seems to gasp a sigh of relief they did something big in school, like mainly violin in school orchestra in junior high or high school, though more people seem to be starting violin as a toddler. People also fight and take flight when they do things like cheerleading and dance team and quit after junior high or high school. Many ballerinas aren’t serious about anything, neither, but I’ve seen more than one become a graphic designer or get cancer and die, I think. There are brilliant young dancers out there who never make it. I can say the same for me wanting to sing for events, like when they set up a stage and some of the show feature singers for Christmas. They tell me things like it’s hard and why not, like, do Musical Theater at UCF.
